Visitors Centre.
- Provide a comprehensive guide to the Aboriginal culture and tourist attractions in the Blue Mountains and Western New South Wales.
- Liaise closely with other Aboriginal tourist attractions in NSW and promote a "Tour Circuit" for travellers to forward plan their holidaying in NSW. We will provide an interactive display and information on this circuit which will ultimately be available online.
- Employ and provide ongoing training to Aboriginal staff members.
- Assist and train Aboriginal persons from other areas wishing to set up tourist facilities such as this.
Performance Space.
- Based on the successful "Goomblars Dreaming" show, Goomblar Wylo will establish daily stage shows which will entertain and inform visitors. Goomblar's proven track record will ensure that our show will be a rich meeting of traditional storytelling, dance and music with stunning multimedia and lighting effects. This show will be a significant revenue generator for the Centre.
- The show will provide regular employment and ongoing training to Aboriginal musicians and dancers as well as a lighting/audio/staging technician.
- Scholarships will be available to potential performers and technicians from all areas to spend time at the Centre. Preference will be given to persons from organisations wishing to start similar tourist operations. As such our training program will not only help develop artistic skills we will provide production and business training necessary to develop similar ventures to ours.
